Unbound pages of various sizes that represents a portion of the original manuscript, presumably from the late 1960s, for the Northfield Now and Then Cookbook which was originally published in 1970. Numbered pages present are: 111, 113, 115-128, 130-146, 148-157, 162-164, 166-179, 181-184, 186-196, 198-200, 203-216. Some sheets have missing or loose content. Various degrees of spotting and light staining present on most.
The published edition of Northfield Now and Then Cookbook is compilation of mostly original recipes, interspersed with local history and lore, illustrations, and clip art. This is a great example of how a small town cookbook was made before computers. Very good+. Item #83
