Emily Carr was a renowned early 20th century Canadian painter. This book, called "one of the most important scholarly works on the artist", was authored by Doris Shadbolt, who wrote two more books about Carr and was a major curator of Carr's work during her lifetime. Includes 177 reproductions of the artist's work, in color and black and white.
